Entity Makeup

Entity Makeup

  • We decided to add some makeup on the entity to enhance the features, just incase her face appears in the footage.
  • We didn't want to use any white face paint, because in our AS level coursework, we used the white face paint, and it ended up looking extremely unprofessional.

  • Instead of using white face paint, I put on some suncream with a high SPF, because this would make my face appear whiter when on camera, because it reflects light, especially on photos and videos.
  • I then primed my eyes, so that the eye shadow would set easier and it would create a smoother blend.
  • I then concealed my lips and freckles with concealer.
  • A burgundy eyeshadow was used to darken up the eyes, to make it seem bruised.

  • I then added some black eyeshadow on the top to darken up the shadows and give an eerie look.
  • I slowly added layers of eyeshadow on to build up the colour, and to get the right blend.
  • I then added some eyeliner on my eyes to darken up the eyes further and I blended it outwards.
  • Once I put my hair in front of my face, it creates the desired effect, as it emphasises the shadows on my face.

  • With the costume added on:
  • For the filming day, I will keep my hair as greasy as possible to also add to the effect and make it seem dirty.
