Location Scout

For my location scout, I went to Abbey Ruins. The site itself is very old and nearly gone due to its age.  The low level walls could provide protection for our victims as it adds a sense of eeriness to the piece. In addition to this, the aged walls add a horror element to the location. If the trailer was filmed at night, torch light reflecting off of the walls could look creepy and spooky to our audience.

The space is very open which might not make the area very scary as most people are afraid of what they cannot see therefore having the entity in view throughout the entire trailer may make it less scary.

This open area also leads into a wood next to it. The woods is very inclosed and tight in the way it is formed. The trees are very close together and at night it would be very very dark as the light may not be able to weave its way through the trees - therefore torches would be a necessity in order for our trailer to work well. In addition to this, there are many areas for both our victims and entity to hide in order to protect themselves or attack another person.
