Initial Storyboard

Storyboard

• We came up with an initial storyboard, for the plot of the trailer, but we didn't make it too detailed, as we wasn't too sure whether we needed to add any extra plot twists.

• We decided to set this in the location of the woods, where there is a group of university students, on their last year, where they decide to go on one last camping trip before their graduation.
• We have several shots of them walking through the forest and setting up the tests and various other shots.
• Then there will be a close up/ over the shoulder shot over one of the characters, where the focus will be on the character before focusing onto the figure behind her. However, the figure would be far away enough so that we don't see her face.

• Then there will be shots of different supernatural, weird events happening around the group, which starts to make them suspicious.
• There will be close up shots of them sitting in a group, and also an establishing shot of them sitting around a camp fire talking about the supernatural occurences.
• Whilst they are talking, the narration will continue on being non diegetic sound, which cuts to different supernatural occurences happens, before cutting back to the group where the pan boils into a pot of blood.

• Finally, we would have characters running through the woods, running away from the entity.
• The last scare would be mixtures of close ups and extreme closeups, with panting of the main girl character, before she turns around to check and we cut to black.

This is just a very simple storyboard idea, which is not final, so there are still some adjustments to be made, e.g. the casting, storyline, plot twists and different scares.
