Villain Costume Practical

Villain Costume Practical

  • We decided to go with a girl in a white dress as our supernatural entity, and this time, we decided not to show her face.
  • To cover up her face, we either had to use quirky camera angles, or we got a wig, with black hair which would cover up her face.

  • So we went online and we bought the cheapest wig available, as our budget is not very large.
  • We then had to find a white dress, that would look very simple on the supernatural entity, as we found that this was quite stereotypical of supernatural entities, especially in the japanese horror films.
  • When searching through the internet, we couldn't find any simple white dresses that were like a smock, and they were all quite expensive, so we decided to go to our drama department to look through their costumes.
  • We found some white choir robes, which from afar looked good enough to use in our video, so we decided to opt for that instead.

Conclusion

When the wig arrived, we found that the wig was too shiny, due to the cheap synthetic hair that was used, so we may have to experiment with adding talcum powder to matte the hair down, or we may have to get another actor that has black hair to play the part.
