Text Practical

Within our trailer, we planned to have five different pieces of text flash up giving a little bit of information about the trailer that the audience are watching. These five pieces will say:

• They were warned not to enter
• They did not listen
• From the creators of Porcelain
• Don't Look Back
• Coming Soon

These slides will appear throughout the trailer enlightening the audience about what it is they are watching. 

"Don't Look Back" is the title of our trailer and the practical for this font was created earlier on within the blog. 

We planned on keeping the same text throughout the trailer however for the quotes and other information, the text will be slightly smaller in order to show the importance of the information. In addition to this, it will create a comparison to the when the main title flashes up - being larger and bolder. 

Firstly, I selected the horizontal type tool and began to type out my first line of text - "They were warned not to enter".

I then changed the background colour to black using the background fill tool. The text didn't stand out against a black background so I changed the font to white - the same colour as it will appear in our trailer. 

I then selected the font "Adobe Garamond Pro" - the same font that is used without our main title. I did not add the effects and layers onto these titles as we wanted to have a difference between these titles and our trailer title - making a larger impact on the audience.
