When watching trailers, I noticed that a lot of them have a screen that appears at the end, that states some of the production company as well as the people involved within the production of the film itself. Therefore, I chose films such as Oculus, The Cabin in the Woods, As Above So Below and Annabelle.
Here are the final screens from all four films:
Annabelle
Oculus
As Above So Below
The Cabin in the Woods
Therefore, I decided to create our own ending screen, in order for our trailer to appear more professional as well as realistic. This screen will also credit all of the people who have contributed to our trailer as well as including some names in order to fill spaces and specific titles.
I downloaded a specific font from www.DaFont.com in order to get the exact font that is featured within trailers and movie posters. This font was called SF Movie Poster Font.
I typed out exactly what I wanted the trailer to read and converted it into this font. Most of the text, in the above examples, appears to be placed within the middle of the screen. This makes it easier for the audience to read what is written.
I then noticed that all of my example endings had small logos placed at the bottom of the screen. These ranged anywhere from production company logos to Twitter and Facebook signs. Therefore I placed signs on our trailer that were specific to the trailer we were about to show including the age certificate and the copyrights.
There is the final image:
