Evaluation Day 5

When filming the lighting began to change due to the shorter days - this gave us a good effect as it meant that we did not have to come back when the lighting had changed in order to film at a later time.

Things didn't go as we planned due to complications in realism. This means that when we filmed the scene, it didn't appear realistic and natural. Therefore, we decided to cut this scene and film a completely different scene with different camera angles.

We filmed a scene where out entity slowly gets closer to the camera. This involved a selection of different camera scenes such as an extreme close up as well as a long shot. This was combined with the screaming shot that we planned to film at the end of the day - however, it was filmed as an extreme close up as opposed to a mid shot. This gave us a better effect that before - meaning we were able to gain a stronger jump scene.

We also tried to film a separate scare scene incase the original scene did not appear as good on a larger scene - this consisted of a mid shot where the camera begins panning and ends on the entity - she then slowly turns around and lunges at the camera. As of yet, we are unsure how this scene has turned out however once the footage is placed onto the existing trailer, we will be able to see if and how it fits together.

The final scene filmed was done over a fallen down tree. As the tree was sideways and quite large, our entity was able to hide behind it - meaning she was invisible to the audience, we then asked her to climb over the tree, raising her hands first. This gave a scary and eery effect to the scene which is what we were aiming for on this filming day.
