  • It talks about the horror genre, and he discusses the key themes of the genre, the main debates raised and he talks about other theories which other people have applied to this genre.
  • The book is based on the research that was undertaken for BBC Radio series, "Spinechillers - A History of the Horror Film."
  • He covers a wide range of horror texts, from "Blair Witch", "Night of the Living Dead" to "The Exorcist".
