Revised Storyboard
- We decided that it wouldn't be practical to use a child as the main supernatural villain, as they are still young, so their ability to act may not be realistic enough for our trailer, and also it would be hard for an adult to allow their child to act for our trailer, as it may not be ethical.
- So we decided to use an entity that is a little bit older, so we can use another teenager, but their faces will not be shown, and they will mainly be used to be a small shadow in the background.
- We also decided that it would take too much time to put up a tent, like in our previous storyboard, and since it would only be used for one shot, it would be a waste of time.
- So here is our revised storyboard:
SCENE 1: Shot of the main victim breathing very heavily, leaning against a tree and she slowly turns to look round before the scene cuts. Heavy use of switching between close up and extreme close up.
SCENE 2: Quick consecutive shots of the bodies, with non diegetic sound of the radio telling the public to not enter the woods.
SCENE 3: Black title: "They were warned not to enter"
SCENE 4: Found Footage: The main character very happily introducing the introduction to the documentary.
SCENE 5: Another black title saying: "From the Creators of Porcelain."
SCENE 6: A quick shot of one of the characters being dragged away into the darkness.
SCENE 7: Found footage of 2 of the characters vlogging themselves, and they are unsure what is happening, and they have the entity run behind them extremely quickly.
SCENE 8: A found footage shot of the camera filming the woods, it turns away and then it pans back, and there is a short shot of the entity right in front of the camera, but just showing the head.
SCENE 10: The character is unconscious on the floor, with the camera facing away from the character.
SCENE 11: Switches back to found footage of the camera, and the camera is being picked up by the entity and zooms into the character, and she wakes up and screams.
Conclusion
We may need to play around with angles and different shots, and maybe adding a few more scares.
The short cut scenes, may need to change in the order, so that it climaxes and slowly gets worse.
