Recording New Radio Voiceover

• Our original radio voice, used the voice of our presenter in the film, so we thought that it would be misleading to use the same voice as the student presenter and the radio presenter. So, we decided to re-record the voice.

• We decided to use a male voice this time, just to add variation to the trailer, because currently it is an all female cast.

• I used the same method of recording as last time, where I used the programme Logic Pro 9 and a condenser microphone.

• I recorded the sound, and then afterwards we editing the sound by taking the higher and lower frequencies off, which creates a radio/ telephone effect.

Conclusion

In the original recording, we found that the recording was just too long, as it took up 15 seconds, so we decided to cut the dialogue shorter, so that it took up less time, and only provided the necessary information.
